Question:
Hello, I am interested in getting a set of ride rite air spring helper for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner with a 3” lift. The interior diameter of the coil is 5 1/8” and the inside height is 10” not including the bump stop bump stop would decrease this by about 2”. Can you recommend a set of air bags that will fit these coils? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4135 for your 2012 Toyota 4Runner will be a little too small for your coils but if you get the kit and then get 2 of the replacement springs # F6003 you'll be able to accomplish this as this spring is 10" tall.
Unfortunately this air bag doesn't come in a kit which is why you'll need to swap out the air bags in the 4135 for the # F6003 bags.
If you'd like a kit that fits without any modifications is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1145R which fit between the coils themselves.
