Roof Rack For 2024 Honda CR-V For Two Thule Hullavators

Published 10/02/2023

Question:

I am be getting a 2024 Honda CR-V Sport L. I will be mounting my Thule Hullavator best thing ever!!. I want to replace the cross-bar that I currently have and will need appropriate feet. There are side rails. Not sure what length cross-bar to get. Do you have recommendations? I was going to order the package on your site that included the cross-bars and feet - if 50 inch cross-bars are long enough, I will just order that package. Would you happen to know the total weight of the cross-bars, feet and Hullivator? I would liketo have two Hullivators, and am checking on how much weight the CR-V roof will hold. thanks for your help!

Yep, you can go ahead and mount the Thule Hullavator # TH898 to your 2024 Honda CR-V with a roof rack, and 50 inch bars will be long enough for one, but for two Hullavators you need 60 inch bars. For 60 inch bars the only option is a Yakima roof rack due to how they mount to the feet (longer Thule bars simply won't fit). So here is what you can use:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 60" Long # Y00426

- SightLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y64AR

- SightClip Fit Kit # Y44UR

- Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898

The total weight of two Hullavators and this rack is 95 lbs. If that is too much and you just want to use the single Hullavator, then instead of the 60 inch bars go with the 50 inch Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425.

Also, if you want to lock the Yakima rack to your CR-V, you can do so with Lock Cores # Y07204.
