Is CE Smith Bow Roller Recommended For Boat Trailer Bow

Dear Tech Experts, I just purchased a used Lund fishing boat with an EZ load trailer. The current bow roller is beat up and breaking apart. I saw the yellow-colored PVC bow roller. 3.75inch length on 1/2inch bolt. The video also described the outside-the-bracket wider diameter bow rollers maybe they are likely only guide. Are those recommended for the bow? They are currently not on this boat. And if recommended, would they fit while just supported by the 1/2inch bolt without needing additional hardware. If so, how much bolt length is needed to accommodate the two outside bow rollers beyond the center bow roller? thank you.

Yes, the CE Smith Bow Roller for Boat Trailers - PVC # CE29543 is recommended to replace your current worn bow roller. PVC is stronger than rubber and won't mark up your boat either so it is the best option. The # CE29543 will fit with the 1/2 inch diameter bolt without any more hardware. It will fit so long as your bracket is 4 inches wide, so that's how long the bolt needs to be.
