Question:
How can I tell the difference between the touring bar and the softail bar? We have both and they look the same. There are no part numbers on the bars that I can see.

You can tell the difference between the B&W Touring Biker Bar # BWMC2301 and Softail # BWMC2302 by looking at the neoprene pads. The # BWMC2302 has gray pads and the # BWMC2301 has black pads.
It is a darker gray, and may appear black if it is dirty, so cleaning the pads will help if you aren't able to tell a difference right away. The difference is easier to see if you check the pictures for the Replacement Clamping Bars you were looking at. The # BWMC2301B is black while the # BWMC2302B is gray.
