You can technically use any landing gear set that you want as long as the capacity is high enough for your specific trailer. We typically just recommend going with a system has matching weld stop spacing so that you can reuse your mounting brackets instead of having to cut them off and weld on new ones.
We don't currently offer the Reese 500708, but I do know that it has a 15-1/2" measurement from inside of the top weld stop to the inside of bottom weld stop and a 17-1/2" measurement between the outside of the top weld stop to the outside of the bottom weld stop. This 15-1/2" and 17-1/2" spacing is super common for most of the landing gear options we offer.
If you have a different measurement then let me know and I can see if there's a match, otherwise you'll have to cut off and weld on new brackets.
