Winch Cable Length Recommendation for 24 ft Pontoon Boat

What length cable and diameter do I need for a 24foot pontoon that will be carried by 24foot scissor trailer? The cable that came with the trailer was only about 10foot and it snapped pulled loose from clamp which dropped my pontoon dangerously like a ton of bricks. Thanks

A 25 foot long winch cable like the part # FWC3250100 would work great for your setup. This would pretty easily be long enough to get your boat pulled up onto the trailer. This is 3/16 inch diameter. The diameter you need though will be based on your winch.
Other diameters we offer are the # DL24100 which is 1/4 inch, part # DL24102 which is 5/16 inch, # DL24047 which is 7/32 inch, # DL24043 which is 3/16 inch.
