How to Determine the Model of My Trailer Winch
Updated 03/26/2014 | Published 03/22/2014 >
Question:
where can you find out what model # your winch
asked by: Jimmy H
Expert Reply:
Some winch manufacturers will stamp a model number and brand name on the base of the winch, so you may be able to identify the winch that way. If you do not see a model number, but you know the brand, I may be able to identify the winch if you can send me a picture.
If the winch is the original winch for the trailer, you may also be able to contact the trailer manufacturer with your trailers VIN and they should be able to tell you what winch they put on the trailer when it was built.
