What is the maximum tongue weight allowed. My current BandW is only 1,000lbs.

1,000 lbs is the maximum tongue weight of the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount item # BWTS10049C. It's the same on the rest of the B&W tow and stow's for a 2" hitch receiver.
If you are looking for a ball mount with a higher tongue weight, I recommend the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers item # 325-GH-314. It has a 1,500 lbs maximum tongue weight, a similar 7-1/2" drop and rise, and both a 2" and 2-1/2" hitch ball.
