Question:

The entry door handle on our 2005 Monaco Diplomat 40PDQ has broken and needs to be replaced. Do you have a replacement part for that? Since were unable to open the door from the outside, we cant close or lock the door when we leave... making replacement an urgent matter. Motorhomes use very specific style entry door lock, of which we have two options:

Bauer Products European Style Motorhome Entry Lock # BA58AR. This lock requires a 7-7/16" tall x 3-3/4" wide cutout hole in order to fit.

Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock # BA64FR. This lock requires a 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall cutout hole in order to fit.

You're going to need to remove the inner half of the door lock to measure the cutout hole for your door. If neither of these work then I recommend reaching out to a local RV dealership since they'll have better access to OEM parts and should be able to get you a replacement.
