Yes, you will need to remove the roof molding strips on your 2021 Mazda 3 to install the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack. When the roof rack is removed you will be able to reapply the strips. You will need the Crossbars # TH711320, Feet # TH49SC and Fit Kit # TH84CE to complete the roof rack. I have linked the installation instructions below for these components which will show the removal and installation process for the roof strips on your Mazda in the instructions for the fit kit.
