Solution for Needing Replacement Shock SA-001

Question:

I need a 2008 Mastercraft X45 trailer hitch shock absorber replacement. The hitch is built by Reliable who is out of business. Looking for an alternative or a replacement. The reliable part number is SA-001 The hydraulic surge brake replacement shock I need has 3/4” ID eyelet on each end. The shock measures 5.5” long on centers and 7.5” on centers extended. So a 2” stroke. The shock Cylinder diameter is 1 3/4”. Wondering if you have anything I can adapt as an alternative? Appreciate any help you can give. Thanks

We don't have anything that would work since we don't carry the Reliable brand. Only solution would be an all new coupler if you can't find what you need elsewhere. It seems like that shock is really hard to find though a so a new coupler like the Demco part # DM72VR would be a solid option.
