Question:
Our 2022 trailer came from the factory with 2x ACs and a 30 amp service. Our breaker panel bus melted and has been replaced under warranty. The manufacturer has authorized a 50 amp upgrade. What concerns should I have about the dealer doing this and how will it affect the resale value of the RV?

Typically two AC units running at the same time is going to have such a large power draw that you'll need to have 50 amp service so the trailer should not have had two units with only 30 amp service equipment. To complete the swap over you'll need a 50 amp power cord, 50 amp receptacle, and a power center rated for 50 amp service.
The answer page you were looking at from Dave that listed out the SmartPlug # SM79FR and # SM86FR along with the Progressive Dynamics # PD4590K18LS8 are all great options for this swap.
My only concern would be the quality of the work completed by the dealership, but you can have a qualified electrician give it a lookover after the installation is complete to ensure it was done correctly. Swapping from 30 amp to 50 amp service will only increase the value of the trailer since it will have more capability to power appliances/items in the trailer. You will have to keep in mind that if you go to a campsite that only has 30 amp service that you'll need an adapter to plug in and will be limited to using only one AC unit.
