Troubleshooting An Everchill RV Refrigerator That Isn't Cooling

Question:

My 2021 camper came with an Everchill. Loved it. While B parked refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. Light stays on so getting power. We unhooked from battery and then rehooked to reset? Still nothing.

The Everchill RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # 324-000119 either has a clogged drain line or just needs more space to breathe while operating. If you pull the unit out you can see the drain line by removing the wire grate on the back of the unit and can ensure it's clean. From there you'll want to give it a few inches to fully breathe and see if this makes a difference. Trailer manufacturers make everything skin tight and this causes the unit to overheat and malfunction.

One other issues we've found with this unit is that if the ground is ran to your power center/ DC distribution panel instead of directly to the frame of the trailer it can cause it to act out. I recommend checking the ground connection and also the voltage at the unit to ensure it's getting a full 12 volts and not a lower amount that would allow the light to work but not cool.
