That is not entirely uncommon for rubber floor mats like the WeatherTech mats. In some cases extreme hot/cold can cause the edges to curl or warp. What you can do is remove the mats and roll them up in the opposite direction of the curl. Usually leaving them rolled up for a few minutes can remove the curl and allow the mat to be more flush with your floor.
This has actually happened with the mats like the # WTW20 in my Toyota Corolla. This car is all black and the Missouri summers can create pretty intense heat inside the car on sunny days. I have had to bend the mats a few times over the years. I expect it to be a reoccurring issue though, since my car is not parked in a garage.
If you are tired of dealing with the rubber mats, we do offer some carpet mats as well. These would lay flat and would not "curl" like the rubber mats. The downside is they are a bit harder to clean. If you let me know the year, make and model of your vehicle I am happy to make recommendations.
