Roof Rack and Paddleboard Carrier for 2021 Ram 1500 Crew Cab

Question:

Hello, would the SeaSucker Board Carrier work on a 2021 Dodge Ram crew cab? Im concerned about the length that it would have to span and does it have enough clearance for the antenna. Also, as you know, the top of the Ram has water grooves in the roof. I would have to put the suction bars at the very front and very back of the roof. My paddleboard is 28.5 inches wide. Would ladder racks be a better solution? Thanks in advance for your reply!

We haven't had a chance to test the SeaSucker board carrier part # 298-BX1806 on a 2021 Ram 1500 crew cab and it isn't a rack that was fit tested on vehicles either so I think it would work but I can't say for certain. A better option would be a roof rack that you could then mount a board carrier to. For a rack the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA150B-2, # RRRLKVA, # RR56QJ and then for a paddle board carrier the # LR47FR would do a great job and installs easily by sliding into the channels of the Rhino Rack crossbars.
