Is The TireMinder Signal Booster Required? Or Will The TPMS Work Without It?

Do I need to install the booster on a 23 ft sprinter van or will the Smart TPMS work without it?

Yes you do need to install the booster included with the Tireminder # TPMS-APP-6. These systems are designed to be used with the included booster to ensure accuracy and reliability.

According to the folks at TireMinder, the maximum effective range of the sensors is about 30 feet. So with your 23' Sprinter van, you technically are within acceptable range, but there are lots of things in between the sensors and the monitor that can and will interfere with the signal. Because of this interference, the signal booster is required.
