How Much Space Is Between The Cradles On The Thule Range RV 4-Bike Rack # TH9057?

Question:

What is the distance between each bike mounting cradle, Center to Center. Thule advertises 7inch between bikes but where is that measured from.? I just bought a Yakima Long Haul from etrailer and there is only 5.5inch between each bike cradle measured center to center. This is not enough space to fit 2 mountain bikes next to each other without the trailing arms rubbing heavily together. 3 bikes max on this rack. I am using the tube adapters as well. I will be returning the yakima.

The Thule Range RV Bike Rack # TH9057 spaces each of the cradles 7" on center. Bike racks are typically always measured from center to center on their cradles since not all bikes are the same width so its impossible to know how much space will be between all bikes. The Thule is going to give you the most spacing between the bikes of RV compatible 4 bike racks we carry.
