Troubleshooting A Namsco Wheel Cover That Seems Too Tight To Fit The Wheel

Question:
I’m having a very hard time getting these hubcaps installed. It seems like too tight of a fit with the retention rod. Do you have any suggestions

The Namsco Wheel Covers # NA7160B0 doesn't have a retention rod, but instead has clips that latch onto the wheel so I'm wondering if you maybe got something else. I would double check the part number to verify that you have the correct one/size for your wheels and ensure that the cutout for the valve stem for the retention clips is placed over the valve stem when trying to pop the cover in place.
