Question:
Would a roof bike rack be good for my ebike or what should I do? It has slightly wide tires too. thanks.

Expert Reply:
Roof bike racks are a good way to save space at the back of your vehicle, but unless your e-bike is on the lighter end of things and you're able to confidently lift your heavy e-bike up on top of your vehicle's roof (even after a bike ride) I recommend going with a hitch mounted bike rack. Just to keep your options open I'll go ahead and recommend both roof and hitch mounted racks for you to choose from:
Roof Bike Rack
- Thule UpRide for Fat Bikes # TH599000-FB (up to 44 lb bike and 5" wide tires)
Hitch Bike Rack
- Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 # HR1450Z-FB (fits a 2" hitch receiver)
If you don't already have a trailer hitch on your vehicle just let me know your year/make/model and I'd be more than happy to make a recommendation for you!
