Question:
Hi I have a 1984 shorelander trailer model r/rb16s with a Atwood 82541 actuator, brakes are 10inch x 2-1/4inch Uni-Servo, The drum has a number of 15638 on it, backing plate for brake has Dico on it but no numbers, the atwood book they gave me when i purchased trailer has MPD 159-80770 and MPD 159-80780 Assemblies, the shore lander booklet has Bendix Brake assembly T-86 10inch x 2-1/4inch brakes with 1-1/4inch - 3/4inch bearings in a 10inch 5 lug drum. The complete brake assembly number is Bendix 3201909 Midwest Part number 4540061 for left side and Bendix 3201910 Midwest 4540060 for right side, Was curious what Brake Assemblies you recommend. I did type in the Bendix number and Crofttrailer.com came up but shows the Demco SM18787M and SM18788m For the left and Right. Please help Thank you

We do carry brakes assemblies that will replace yours. It sounds like the brakes you have now are made by Atwood. They no longer make these and have not for quite some time. What we have to replace them are the Demco # 18787 and # 18788. Fortunately we are dealing with a standard size here with the 10" x 2-1/4". You will be able to easily swap these out and get back on the road.
