Question:

Your web site recommends the Thule Evo clamp foot 710501, kit 145160, and 53 inch Evo square bars for my 2019 Nissan Frontier Crew cab4dr, long bed, clean roof, for a roof rack on the cab. I have a set of Thule Evo square bars that are 60 inches long. Will these work instead of the 53 inch bars? It looks like there may be enough play with the 9 1/4 Evo slot to do this. I think I need the longer bars in order to use my Thule Hulllavator Pro. Also, I was looking at the install instructions for this kit and it recommends a distance of 27 inches from the front bar to the rear bar. It looks like this is the same distance recommendation regardless of whether the cab is a crew or king cab. When I measure my crew cab, it looks like I can get a 36 inch gap between bars. This would allow me to haul my larger kayak without having to run one of the straps over the cockpit combing. Do you think 36 inches is reasonable?

Thule does recommend the 53 inch crossbar Wingbar Evo roof rack for your 2019 Frontier Crew Cab with the part numbers # TH711400, # TH710501, # TH145160 but since you have a 60 inch bar already I would try just ordering the feet and fit kit first to see if there is enough lower slot length on the bars to allow the longer bars. You could always order the 53 inch bars later.

We do have to recommend you stick with exact mounting location for the feet of the rack though.
