What light weight trailer hitch do you recommend for a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder. I am just pulling a boat trailer with a 12 foot aluminum boat on it. Thank you

I recommend installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13156 on your 1998 Nissan Pathfinder. This receiver has a 2" opening for ball mounts or other hitch mounted accessories. The Towing Kit # C45534 includes a ball mount with a 2" drop and a 2" ball. If you need more drop or rise please let me know so I can help you find the correct ball mount.
You will also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118361 to connect to the lights on your trailer. This will give you a 4-way flat connector.
