Question:
what is the inside diameter of the thimble? My tow dolly cables are too short, but they have a 1inch diameter thimble and fit over a special adapter. I cant get a 6,000 rated carbiner in the hole to replace the adapter, so I need the new cable to have a 1diameter thimble.

I do have a recommendation for you as the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 only have a 5/8" wide opening that is 1-1/4" long. This is a common size since our safety cables are designed for flat towing and often have to fit through small openings.
We do have the 12" # DM9523064 and 18" # DM9523065 extensions which you can attach to your current safety cables to get the length you need. These include 1 hook for each cable to attach to your tow vehicle and your existing cables can attach to the open eyelet.
