Is There A Set Power Level For The Blue Ox Patriot When Towing A 2010 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

How or what level of brake power do most users set the new version Blue ox 2022 at when viewing the dash mount controller. Is it safe to set a unit at # 1 or 5 on a 2 door 2010 Jeep Wrangler being towed? Is some settings too high ? Is there a standard or recommended ?

There's too many factors to consider for each vehicle to have a set braking power for the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. You'll have to just try the settings to see how they respond and whether or not you need to raise or lower the sensitivity/braking power setting. I recommend starting out in the middle of the power range and getting up to about 40 mph and then testing the power to see how it feels. You can set the unit a bit too high and could potentially lock up the brakes so I would not start with full power until you've tried lower settings first.
