how is this winch different from the 25001?

There are two things the # DL25010 has that the # DL25001 does not. One is the hand-held remote with a 10' cord. The other is the spring-loaded clutch lever for releasing load with power. Outside of these two differences, the winches have all of the same features. Personally, I would get the # DL25010 just for the convenience of having a remote.
