Can Kayak Carrier Be Clamped Onto Thule Caprock Platform Roof Tray

Question:
How wide are the horizontal slats? My kayak carrier I got from you works on crossbars that are up to 3-1/8 inches wide. Will it work with the slats on this platform?

According to my contact at Thule the horizontal slats on the Thule Caprock Platform Roof Tray # TH48YE are just under 1-1/2" wide so you won't have any problems fitting standard clamp-on accessories to the roof tray!
