Can The Optronics LED RV Utility Light Be Used As A Docking light On A 2021 Dynamax Isata 5 36DS

Question:

Hi! We have a 2021 Dynamax Isata 5 36DS with two white LED rear Auxiliary lights in the rear bumper. One has gone out. The OEM part is a Hella Optilux. The description given to me by Dynamax was: F100089938 : LIGHT, REAR DOCKING ROUND OPTILUX 12 LED FLUSH MOUNT I am sure that is their internal part number. I am attaching pictures of the actual unit my husband removed and I am hoping this helps. Just wondering what you might have that would be an acceptable replacement. Your part looks similar but without the threaded housing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Looking into the light you have a bit it appears it's either been discontinued or is only purchasable by an OEM manufacturer. We don't really have a selection for motorhome dock lights so the Optronics LED RV Utility Light - Submersible # UCL60CB you referenced would be the closest option. It's a surface mount design so you'd need to remove the trim cover and screw into the wall of the motorhome to mount it.

Before purchasing I recommend measuring just how much space you have since the light would sit in the wall to ensure that there's enough room for its 3" diameter. If not I'd reach out to your local RV dealerships since they have better access to OEM parts and can probably get you something closer to your current light.
