Installing new domestic a/c thermostat power coming from wire to solar pan Al which stays on all the time. Is this correct?

It sounds like you are installing a Dometic a/c thermostat like the # DMC79FR and you are trying to run the power wire directly from a solar panel? If that is the case, it would not be correct. Solar panels do not run anything directly, they just work to recharge the batteries that are being used to power the appliances. So the power wire should be coming from the battery bank or more likely a distribution panel, not the solar panel itself.
