Can Leer XR100 Camper Shell Carry Two Kayaks
Updated 06/15/2023 | Published 06/14/2023 >
Question:
I was hoping to find a better weight rating for my RAM 2500 LEER XR100 Thule roof racksfactory installed. I think what I found is 150lbs. I would like to purchase the Malone or Thule 2 kayak carrier to haul two 45 lb kayaks on top. My concern is I also have a LEER locker installed and I can only assume that will reduce the roof racks rating. Can you help me with the weight rating? Or would you say two kayaks is not advisable? Thanks,

I did some research on the weight capacity of your Leer XR100 topper and while I wasn't able to get an exact figure I can say it would pretty easily handle two 45 lb kayaks and the Malone Foldaway carrier part # MAL38FR would work really well to carry them.
