Question:

I have a 2103 Chevy Silverado towing a Imagine XLS MLE22. The camping trailers unloaded weight is 5176 lbs. Will this hitch work to tow my camper? Or will I need a heavier hitch to match the original equipment?

Unless you were using a weight distribution system like the Strait Line part # RP66083 with the Draw Tite hitch part # 75521 it would not have the capacity for the Imagine XLS MLE22 based on the unloaded weight you mentioned.

Without a WD system the hitch has a 6k trailer weight capacity so by the time your trailer is loaded it would probably weight more than that. With a WD system it has a capacity of 10,500 lbs.

The Curt hitch part # C15323 has a higher capacity at 16,000 lbs without a weight distribution system so it is probably more what you are looking for.
