Recommended Replacement Mirrors For A 2001 Ford E-450 Cab And Chassis Motorhome

Question:
Hi everyone, Youve been very helpful with several upgrades for our 22 year old RV we bought this year. Its an R-Vision Trail-lite 211f 2001 Ford which has a E350 chassis. The mirrors need updated as they have frozen in place due to rust. They also do not fold in. No electricals or heat to the OEM mirrors as this seems to be a very stripped down model. We are searching for mirror replacements that we can adjust with relative ease. Husband is 6foot and Im 5foot so we slide that seat all the way in opposite directions. Ideal mirror replacements would be ones that can be folded in when we are driving in narrow roads with pine limbs crowding the lanes to avoid damaging mirrors or trees. We live in rural NW Montana in the heavier forested rockies. Im the main user of the RV and like many females I dont have strong wrists or hands so hope to find ones I can adjust on my own without tools. Though thats our ideal wish list we also would be happy to find a decent set of replacement mirrors that are badly needed. We definitely do not want slide on or over mirror extensions we are in need of full replacements. Thanx for any help or information.

Since you don't have any functions with your current mirrors you'd want to stick with manual mirrors so that your not spending extra money on features that you can't even use. I recommend going with the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS61067-68F. These replacement mirrors extend out from 18" to an extended length of 21-1/2" and can be easily folded in when needed. Since these are manual you'll have to physically move the mirror face to your desired position with just your fingers.
I've attached a short video below where Jeff will go over these replacement mirrors in a bit more detail if you'd like to check it out.
