Question:

how to install Lippert part #177094. I have a 2012 Sierra 5th wheel and the valve is leaking fuild all over the hydraulic level leg on the passenger side of the rv. It is leaking so bad that i have had to add a gallon of Dextron 3 to the system

I have listed the steps for replacing your Hydac Cartridge Valve for RV Slide-Out Hydraulic Pump # LC177094 below.

1: Fully retract slide-out or jack connected to the hydraulic valve
2: Remove the plastic retention nut, green o-ring and coil
3: Use a 7/8" wrench to loosen the hydraulic valve. Let the valve bleed to relieve any residual pressure in the hose, then remove the valve
4: Carefully thread the new valve into the manifold. Tighten the valve until it comes to a stop. Add just a little bit of torque, but be careful not to overtighten it.
5: Install the coil, green o-ring and retention nut.
6: Purge the system to bleed the air out of the hydraulic lines
