I have a 2015 ram 3500 and my new, used trailer has no brakes, they only work when I pull the breakaway cable, my manual gain settings say the brakes are being applied but they are not, I dont even hear the actuator turn on like it does when I pull the breakaway

From what you are describing it sounds like you need an adapter for your EOH system; I couldn't find the actuator you purchased from us but for Hydrastar Gen 6 and newer use the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module # HBA-CAM or for BrakeRite use the Adapter Module for BrakeRite Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # DX35FR.
These say for Ford and GM, but also work with Ram.
