Do Transmission Coolers Have Inlet and Outlets Designated

Question:
Can transmission cooler lines be put on backwards? Which hose goes on bottom which goes on top. Will it effect the performance of my vehicle. 2005 bmw X5 3.0i

Transmission coolers do not have an inlet and outlet so they can't be used backwards. Basically either side can be either the inlet or the outlet and you'll be totally fine.
