For your 2008 Saturn Vue I have the following recommendations:

Baseplate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX3332.

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates # e47ZR. This tow bar is going to have the safety cables bracketed to the arms so that you don't have to purchase them separately or worry about them dragging on the ground. The head and shank have a bit of adjustability to help keep the tow bar level so that you hopefully don't also have to purchase a high/low adapter.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit is going to splice into your tail light wiring to properly display the traffic signals from your motorhome through the tail lights.

Since you have to remove the IGN SW fuse in order to flat tow your Vue I recommend picking up the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 as well so you can disable/enable the fuse with the flip of a switch.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This portable braking system will require a bit of setup each time but is way less invasive than a fixed system and can be transferred over to other vehicles if you tow multiple vehicles or trade in your Vue. It comes with a remote that indicates when the brakes are activated and allows you to change between proportional or full-braking modes. The included charge line kit will also help keep your Vue's battery charged while you tow.
