Since the Everchill RV Mini Refrigerator # 324-000111 runs off of standard household electricity I see no reason why this can't be used at home like this. Just keep in mind this is designed for inside an RV so it doesn't have any kind of heavy duty outdoor rating or anything like that so you'll want to take precautions to protect the electrical components from the elements.
