Question:
Can the 3-step 24x8.5 aluminum product here be used as an extension for the factory 2 step when the camper is on the truck? Can I get an extra mounting bracket with hardware? One on the end of factory step 2 as an extension when camper is loaded in truck, and One on the camper itself to be used instead of the factory stairs when off the truck.

Helpful Expert Reply:
No, the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS23 need a solid base to mount to and the steps on your camper are going to be too unstable to manage the leverage the # AS23 is going to place on them, leading to damage to the factory steps or the # AS23. You'll want to measure the entry height you have and we can then pick out the right steps to fit the height.
Additional mounting brackets can be purchased separately with part # AS2002
