Class IV and Class V Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 with TRD Package

Question:
I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab with the TRD package, and I am wondering if this will properly bolt up to my truck? If not is there another hitch receiver that will fit. Thanks

The Curt Class V Trailer Hitch, # C15398, will fit your 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double Cab with the TRD package as long as your truck does not have a factory installed trailer hitch. The highest capacity trailer hitch that we carry for models with a factory hitch is the Torklift Class IV Trailer Hitch, # TLT1300H. This hitch has a maximum weight carrying capacity of 8,000 lbs and a maximum weight capacity with weight distribution of 15,000 lbs.
Keep in mind, adding a Class IV or V trailer hitch does not increase the towing capacity of your truck, just the capacity of the hitch. I recommend checking your owners manual to verify the towing capacity of your truck before towing.
These hitches come with 2 inch receiver openings, so most hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts will fit. It also includes all of the installation hardware necessary to complete the installation. I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.
