Recommended Under Bed 5th Wheel Hitch System for a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

To be clear is this item that is listed and pictured above, for a fifth wheel as well as gooseneck ? In the images it only shows 1 hole and a gooseneck ball and does not show 4 holes for a fifth wheel hitch, however in the description and title it continues to state that it’s for both uses .

Yes, it works for both. The Custom Underbed Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1020-5W is a gooseneck hitch and a 5th wheel hitch platform. It provides a mounting point to attach the B&W Companion Hitch item # BWRVK3400-5W for a sliding hitch or the B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500 for a standard hitch. These have square posts that mount inside the B&W's square gooseneck receiver. There are Companion hitches that mount in four puck holes but these have a different base.

The B&W Custom Underbed Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1020-5W is confirmed to fit the 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 without the factory prep package. It fits both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # DM8555002. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
