Yes, the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 will fit on your 2022 BMW X3. If you are worried about splicing into the wires we do have the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT which uses sensors placed over the tail light wiring. These sensors detect when power is going through the wiring to activate the 4-way wiring.
You will want a Mounting Bracket # BK4F if you plan on mounting the 4-way near your receiver rather than running it through the rear hatch when needed.
