Dual Hitch Ball Mount For Towing a Small Boat Trailer And Carrying a Cargo Carrier

Question:
Can I use Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 2inch or 6inch /Rise to pull my bass tracker 1754 boat. Boat loaded about 2200 pounds. I can lift the front east. On the top of the receiver I’m putting a 40pound pakmule cargo carrier for my 100 pound Gen and cooler chest. Would this be safe? Cargo carrier is rated for 650 pounds I know it will handle the Gen and 60 pound cooler. Just worried about the dual hitch receiver. 400 pound tongue rating. Thanks

I have a recommendation for you as the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-6 cannot be used with trailer towing. Instead you can use the Gen-Y Phantom X Hitch Ball Mount # GY39VR. This has a similar design with multiple receivers. The Gen-Y is rated for up to 700lbs of tongue weight and 7,000lbs of trailer weight.
