Can Hopkins Trailer Wiring Harness HM48915 be Used on a Honda Goldwing with Separate Brake Lights
Question:
Hi Guys, ... wiring a Kuryakyn Mfg five wire harness from the Goldwing motorcycle into a four wire standard at the plug. Goldwing wires are: Green=Right Turn Yellow=Left Turn Brown=Running Lights Blue=Brakes White=Ground. The wiring harness has an isolator and is fused. All systems at the moment are working. I have a new trailer wiring harness with standard colors of brown, white, green and yellow. Will your Hopkins Part HM48915 allow me to step down five to four? Thank you for your assistance. Any information you can provide will be most helpful. Have a great day.

You can use the Hopkins trailer wiring converter, # HM48915, to converter the 5-wire harness on the Goldwing to a 4-way used by your trailer.
On the harness the red wire is for brake lights and would connect to the blue wire on your motorcycle wiring. All the other wires, green, yellow, brown, and white, will attach color for color to the motorcycle harness.
