Question:
Hello, I have just bought a 2005 cummins, the previous owner said it was chipped. under the hood I found a Edge EZ tunner, and in the cab still packaged in the original box, I found a Cortex Superchips handheld unit. Does the Edge EZ work well with others? Can these units be used together?

I have spoken with my contacts at Edge and the Edge EZ # 30204 that you have is confirmed as a fit for your 2005 Dodge Diesel. The Edge EZ, an Engine Control Module that uses the factory data and then enhances the factory settings for optimized performance.
The Edge EZ can also be stacked with other Edge products to deliver even more power, but is not controlled by another interface. I have provided a link to the installation instructions for your reference.
The Edge Ez and the Superchips Cortex that you currently have, can not be used in conjunction with each other. Both are serving the same purpose and only one can be functional at a time.
My contacts at Edge further explained that the Edge EZ that you currently have can be used simultaneously with other Edge Systems like the Edge Insight CS # EP84030, or the Edge Insight CTS # EP84130. These additional products offer additional monitoring and tuning options in addition to your currently installed Edge EZ. I have provided a link to these systems for you as well.
