How Does the Light Switch and Infrared Sensor Work Together?
Updated 04/19/2023 | Published 04/12/2023 >
Question:
Can you explain the operation when Using the infrared sensor and the light switch together? I assume the light switch must be in the on position for the sensor to still work?

I spoke with Lippert about the Infrared Security Sensor for Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awnings # LC715124 and they mentioned that in order for the infrared senor to work the light will NOT need to be in the "ON" position. The sensor should send a signal to the smart arm controller which will then turn the lights on/off accordingly.
