Key Won't Turn Inside Thule Pulse Alpine Cargo Box

Question:

Hi, I just bought a used Thule Pulse Alpine cargo box and the lock doesnt work. It stuck and doesnt turn. The lock position is now in the middle. The key can be removed and the box doesnt lock. So which part do I need to purchase to replace it? And where can I find the plastic ring around the cylinder key that was missing? Thank you in advance!

If you're having trouble with the locking mechanism on your Thule Pulse Alpine Cargo Box I recommend using some black graphite powder to see if that helps free the lock. If not, try tapping on the box near the lock housing while simultaneously turning. If worse comes to worse you can replace the lock core using the Replacement Lock Cylinder and Premium Key for Thule One-Key Systems part # TH44ND, you'll also need the Universal Change Key for New Thule Locks with No Serial Numbers part # TH42BJ.

Unfortunately, the lock housing plastic trim piece is not replaceable.
