I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee 4x4. I am looking for a base plate I can mount on it for flat tow purposes. I already have a Curt Rambler tow bar and need a base plate that will work with it. Thank you

The Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar item # C26FR is compatible with Blue Ox base plates. For your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1115. The removable tabs will allow your Jeep to look as close to factory as possible when you are not flat towing.

To flat tow your 2000 Grand Cherokee you will also need the following parts:

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
