Hi, I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom, short bed. I have a backflip tonneau cover and am looking for a sliding ladder rack that is compatible with bakflip. I’d prefer not just plain cross bars, but cross bars that have adjustable load stops. I was looking at Thule TracRac SR. Does that one work and are there any other racks that meet my requirements? The Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever item # TH43002XT-782EX is compatible with some of the Bakflip tonneau covers like the Revolver X4s item # BAK62VR. This system mounts to the stake pockets so as long as your cover leaves those exposed you won't have any issues.
The Thule TracRac SR item # TH43002XT-782EX has a no drill installation and a 1,250 lbs capacity. The slotted crossbars accept a wide variety of accessories and the system includes four aluminum load stops. These heavy-duty load stops will allow you to safely secure any lumber or tools.
