Is There a Knockout Section In Under Body Panel on 2020 Tesla Model 3 for Stealth Hitch
Updated 04/04/2023 | Published 04/03/2023 >
Question:
Stealth hitch for 2018 Tesla Model 3 requires cutting hole in rear diffuser, but the diffuser on new models already has a cutout for the hitch. Tesla wont sell me a diffuser for a newer year than my vehicle. Can you help me find where to buy a newer diffuser?

In regards to the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # 391TES317 which is a fit for a 2020 Tesla Model 3, there will need to be an opening made in the underbody panel to allow for the receiver to protrude through. In some cases, there is already a knock out panel in this location but others there's not. I don't really have any advice for obtaining an underbody panel with this knockout so I must simply recommend that you make the cuts as outlined in the instructions.
I've heard it's rather difficult to get parts from Tesla directly so my best advice aside for this would be a local or online salvage yard. I have attached a photo of the cuts below as well.
