For your application I have a few options depending on what exactly you're looking to get out of a roof vent.
For a basic roof vent that will just help keep heat from really building up in your car hauler trailer I recommend the MaxxAir Mini Manual RV Roof Vent # MA00-03700 because it has a manual lift and is covered so it requires no electricity and you can keep it open all the time - even when you're driving or it's raining outside.
For a mid-tier option I recommend the MaxxFan Mini Plus # MA00-03851 which is still a manual lift and has the cover, but the upgrade is the electric fan so you can get some more air movement in your trailer.
If you're looking for top-of-the-line then the MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K is what you need. This has a thermostat controlled feature, and cover, and a 10 speed fan that gives you the best air movement out of the 3 options.
I'm attaching some videos for you to check out including one where we installed a MaxxFan Deluxe on a Ford Transit. I recommend checking that one out if you don't already have a 14" x 14" hole in the roof of your car hauler since we installed this vent from scratch.
