Can The SeeLevel RV Holding Tank Monitoring System # SE59VR Be Mounted At A Diagonal?
Published 03/30/2023 >
Question:
Concerning See Level sensors, have you tested sticking the full sensor strip on a diagonal to a shorter tank. If it works it will show a finer reading using more of the graduations. Like laying a 12inch ruler slanted on a 1x4 board, if you mark the 6inch indications, it will be exactly half the board width. Thanks

I reached out to SeeLevel to determine if you will have any issues running the RV Holding Tank Monitoring System # SE59VR on a diagonal. They mentioned they have had issues with the sensors not working correctly when mounted on a diagonal. They said the issues weren't always immediate so while it may work at first there is a greater chance of having issues in the future. They said you are better off to run them vertically.
